South Central Power is attempting to locate former members who are eligible for the general retirement of 1996 capital credits. A list of names and addresses for members with capital credits from 1996 is available on our website during August and September. If you know individuals or business owners on this list, ask them to notify the cooperative with their current address, or an executor of the estate for those who are deceased. In October, a capital credit general retirement notice will be sent by mail to the last address the cooperative has on file for each of the names listed. This notice is the final contact the co-op will make concerning 1996 capital credits. If South Central Power does not receive a response within

Save the Date: South Central Power Company trustees are pleased to announce plans for an in-person annual meeting of the membership this year. RSVP when you cast your ballot online or via U.S. mail. Meeting location moved to Pickaway County Fairgrounds, 415 Lancaster Pike, Circleville, OH 43113. In-Person Annual Meeting. Aug. 19, 2021, 9 a.m. registration begins; 10 a.m. business meeting begins; 11:15 grab-and-go lunch.

Check out these tips to help lower your energy use. Set your thermostat at 78 degrees or to a comfortable setting. Keep window coverings closed during the day. Don't cook with the oven on hot days. Take advantage of daylight and keep lights off. Replace or clean air filters once a month. Replace incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs.
