I met this girl, last month

I met her on a bus cause she fell on my lap
She said “I know you from something, but really don't know what”
I said “Maybe you have caught one of my shows downtown
Selling music at the pound”
She said “No, it's not that”

She said “Don't know you from work and don't know you from school”
I don't quite know why but it sounded kinda cruel
She said “I'm the kind of girl with lots of intuition hum
Have you ever been in a mental institution”
She said “Do you by any chance have a show on t.v.
I hear everybody's got one that is anybody”
I laughed I told her “No”
And she looked quite deceived
I said “We're on a bus who did you expected that I'd be”

With her like that on my lap, it felt
Unconventional
I thought this might be love, but
It's probably hormonal

She said “This is my stop”
She jumped back on her feet
She said she'd send me an e-mail, I'm still waiting for it
I said “Maybe, baby, before you go
You can tell me my future, I'd like to know)
She said “How am I suppose to do that”
I said “Well, maybe you can read my palm over”
She said “OK”
But she thought I was talking about those pocket computers

Cause she's quite a character

Take two, I'm in a bar, heading to the bathroom
After a gig, it's dark, I'm drunk, I step on some woman's foot
I look up and it's her, I drop a “Sorry ma’m”
I realize that she's a bit older than I am
She's says long time no see, like I'm an old acquaintance
She takes me by the arm and forces me on the dance floor
I'm exhausted, she says “Talk less, dance more”

And then and there, she's asks me for the light and I don't know if I've got one
(She said you could've at least have given me a call
Was I going to tell her she'd never given me her numerals)

Fur coat, net stockings
Bandana, nose-ring and a wig
Skinny jeans, lipstick, stripped t-shirt
Leather boots, cocaine in her purse

She said she'd change my life, I told her I was happy
With it the way it was she said I would be better
To follow her to have fun
I said “Your hairs are fake and if the carpet matches the drape
I can tell you right away: You're not my style”
